CATALOG COURSE DESCRIPTION
This beginning course covers the selection, styles, terminology, classifications, spacing, layout, and history of typography. Emphasis is placed on problem solving skills and analyzing concepts to solve typographic problems. Traditional hand rendering skills and computer software are used to develop effective typographic design.
