In October they will be coming to visit us on Monday and the following Friday we are traveling there to connect with their faculty, students and view the galleries and classrooms that showcase their incredible work.

Heebs’ is an SDCC portfolio alumni and not only is he a gifted calligrapher but creates some of the most beautifully crafted calligraphy pens you will ever see. Hand-carved, with gorgeous woods and shaped with the thoughtful, design aesthetic we’ve come to expect from Heber. Please bring your various pens/ sharpies/ brushes to experiment, it is a hands-on workshop.

September 18, 2015 Heart in the City: Celebration, Fundraiser and Alumni Art Show

We have much to celebrate! City College just celebrated 100 years and our department moved into sparkling new facilities. In honor of events, we’ve rebranded our department and we’re having a party to celebrate with the community. We have also asked a gifted group of our alumni to design special posters that chronicle their experience in the City College Graphic Design program. These will be on display at the event. We are excited to connect with all of you and hope to see a lot of our alumni!
